My wife and I recently hired Ward North American to move us from central Texas to the Florida Panhandle. We have been married 47 years and accumulated a lot of items along our way. We have 3 sons and 4 grandsons. Lots of items they asked us to save for them over the years. The majority of our furniture is American antiques from the 1800s. Old clocks/ including 9 foot tall 140 year old Grandfather clock/ and lots of old glassware. About 15 marble top tables. Massive roll top desk. Antique... dining room set with 140 year old buffet with mirrors and numerous cabinets with glass fronts. We were very anxious about the move. 775 miles. We moved to be near our grandsons and worried about damage and breakage to our old belongings. When the move ended in Florida we were ecstatic. Every facet of our move was superb From Tami the scheduler and Alex the driver, as well as a total of 9 people packing, loading and unloading. Every single person was courteous, kind, efficient and perfect in every way. Frequent communication prior to and up to time of move. Also contacted me to be sure truck and crew were on site on time. They were early and ready to go. The driver,Alex, told me exactly when he would be at our home in Florida. He and crew of 4 were at my house 30 minutes early. They unloaded everything and reassembled all furniture that required disassembly for the move. Not a single scratch on furniture or chip on any piece of glass or marble. These people are absolutely fantastic. My wife and I are beyond pleased. Also I feel the price was much more than fair. My advice to anyone moving anywhere: Don’t bother checking with other movers. Just call and hire Ward North American and relax. They will take great care of you. My wife and I are still talking about what a FANTASTIC job they did.read more

We had the best experience with Ward North American. The team was very friendly, patience and respectful throughout the whole process. They moved our 4-6 room house into a storage facility and was very careful in handling all of our items. They patiently stacked boxes and items in order to get all our items into storage, which took alot of thought and consideration.I would definitely consider working with them again if or should I ever have to relocate again.

All people we dealt with were friendly and very responsive. Moving across the country is no easy/fun task, but Ward made the process much smoother and easier than imagined. From coordinating dates to day of logistics, the entire process was smooth and easy, and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. Unfortunately we had some damage to a few furniture items (working through claims now), but all in all, a job well done and would recommend. Would be a 5 star review if it weren’t for the damage.

I honestly loved this company. The ladies that packed my home was so sweet and so careful. I just sat and watch the walking dead while they packed and it was nice to just relax while they took care of everything. Absolutely the best if you need to move! From the very beginning Ward North American took over everything coordinated with third-party crate team Packers and did a phenomenal job. This was the first time I'd ever moved to another state far away and didn't know exactly what to expect but the fact that I could rely on Ward North American and all parties involved helped ease some of the huge amount of stress that's involved with moving after many years to a completely different state. From the... very beginning when Jim came over to look at everything and put an invoice together I knew I was in good hands. Paul who was the main guy of the moving van, was extremely helpful, very professional, yet very understanding especially with all the emotions I had leaving a place of 17 years, a city I'd lived in all my 60 years. It was just me and my dog moving, so I really had no help, and after six weeks of packing boxes and being completely worn out, I made the decision to have Packers come and do the rest. They were great, As was everybody involved, and I couldn't have done it without Ward North American! The communication from the very beginning was outstanding, and I was very appreciative of Paul and all parties keeping me advised of how things were going to be. I could not have asked for a better moving experience. From the start, my consultation and evaluation for the move was fantastic from TX to NC including the transport of my vehicle. The packers, t.v. crater and mover in charge were all great!!! I even had a situation with my new residence which caused me to delay delivery. Ward North Americam worked with me. I have stuff in storage at one of their facilities. It was a split shipment. Household goods were shipped to one address in October. The goods in storage are to be shipped to another address. I had trouble getting shipping cost and scheduling information for the goods in storage, but that has since been rectified. This will be the 17 move for my wife and I. Most were corporate moves. Ward North America is as good or better than any move we have made.

From start to finish, I had a great experience with my move from Austin to Chicago using Ward North American. This company takes the time to send a surveyor out to your house to look at your items and provide a fair quote based on weight. I got multiple quotes from different companies and this one was the cheapest with great customer service and followed through on all of their commitments. Jim was my surveyor and Nathaniel was my coordinator throughout the process. They were both super helpful... and communicative via phone, email and text. They took the time to check in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going according to plan. Anthony was my driver and him and his crew member Rudy were absolutely awesome and professional. They also took the time to communicate with me throughout the move and handled all of my items with care. Great experience with this company! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Nathaniel got me started then Jim came out and gave the estimate and was very attentive - went way above and beyond helping me figure out a plan. I had to contact him about 5 times before the move and each time he was quickly responsive and made everything way less stressful. The move itself was great. Our driver Brian came in with the Ward crew and they also went way above and beyond. Everything was packed carefully and... they even had to craft a few of the boxes for special items which were more than happy to do. They have a great system for accounting for all your items and when they dropped things off in Boston we counted all 85 boxes/items until they were all checked off the list. Again super helpful crew and felt very trustworthy. No items were damaged. Price was competitive. If you want a stress free move these are your guys. I'll definitely be giving them a call in a few years when I move back to Texas. BTW I am not related to ownership.read more

(Military Move) We had 2 teams come to our house, 1 team for packing and another the next day to move our stuff out of our house. Both teams were fantastic to work with. They were careful in their process, good communication, and very efficient. I greatly appreciate the work they put in and I felt comfortable with how they handled my furniture and sentimental items. All of the people we dealt with during the whole move were pleasant and professional. If anything things were overly protected in packing, but there was very little transit or handling damage to our belongings.A few things were missed in the packing/ loading because I couldn't be on site for that part. My advice would be to be on site at the end of the loading day at a minimum. Having someone there to cover for you is not a effective.

From day 1 it was a good experience. Jim assessed our needs and explained the process. He remained responsive to any questions. Coordinators kept in touch. The move crew Eddie McCoy, et al were great - efficient and flexible. We have moved a few times and we have never seen such wrapping and taping in BLANKETS, not just shrink wrap. Loading was very good. Taken care of everything properly. But, Unloading was not good. Not enough people with proper knowledge of how to move and unwrap stuffs. Many furnitures were not unpacked exactly what it was at the pick up time. Specially stands, drawers, bed frame were not aligned properly. Now having difficulties in fixing those stuffs. Few legs, parts of furnitures were chipped off and damaged. Truck driver was good and approachable.

This is my third time using Ward North American for packing and moving services. They have always met and exceeded my expectations.This time, I moved cross country from a 5 bedroom house to an apartment with less than half the square footage. A lot of the items needed to be packed for long and short term storage. Crew leader Marivel, and Daniela, Maria, Susana did an amazing job. They packed up our 4 bedroom house (2 kids) expertly. All the boxes were labeled very detailed and all the fragile items were wrapped with care. They worked incredibly efficiently and professionally the whole time. This would have taken days and days to do by ourselves. I HIGHLY recommend.

Recently had a move with them and it went great! Despite the record high temps, the crew was professional, courteous and efficient. They worked hard and handled our possessions with care. Highly recommend and hope I don’t need to move anymore, but if I did I would definitely call WNAM!

Roger with his team and lead Eddy did an amazing job with my move. Showed up on time, did an inventory of the house and went to work. Packed on Monday and moved on Tuesday. The entire crew worked very hard and did an amazing job of packing and wrapping everything. Every question or concern I had was immediately addressed. Will look forward to using them if I ever move again.
